A recent article from Abodo lists theBest Cities for Job Seekers, which compares job density data for the top 25 most populous cities in the US. They list the top 10 cities for multiple job categories compared to the national average. It shouldn't surprise you that Texas shows up at least once in each category:
Austin sits at #5 for computer & mathematics occupations, with Dallas, "a budding tech center", not far behind at #7.
Five of the 10 fastest-growing cities in the US are in Texas. As populations expand, so does housing and city infrastructure. This makes the lone star state a hub for construction and extraction occupations, with Houston at the #1 spot. Other Texas cities on the list include Fort Worth (#3), Austin (#7), San Antonio (#8), and Dallas (#10).
In addition, El Paso is ranked #9 in community and social service occupations. San Antonio is #9 for health care practitioners and technical occupations. Austin comes in at #6 for arts, design, entertainment, sports, & media occupations.
This data backs up what we already knew--that Texas is a hot spot for job growth. No matter where you're moving to or from, Healy Relocation can help!
